A 4-Month Studio-Based Professional Development Program for Emerging Pilates Teachers 

JULY 2026 FOUNDING COHORT APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

The KKRU Emerging Teacher Apprenticeship is designed for newly certified Pilates instructors, recent teacher training graduates, and emerging teachers seeking mentorship, teaching experience, and professional development within a supportive studio environment. This apprenticeship bridges the gap between certification and confident teaching through observation, mentorship, lesson planning, teaching opportunities, and studio immersion.

Hours Requirement

98 Hours Required or 102 Hours Including:

  • Optional Staff Team Meetings

Designed to bridge the gap between certification and confident teaching through mentorship, observation, practice, reflection, and real-world teaching experience.

Real Teaching Experience

Gain hands-on teaching experience:

  • Weekly Teacher Development Classes

  • Approved case study sessions

  • Live instructor feedback

  • Structured observation assignment

Observation Program

Apprentices complete:

  • 4 Observation Logs per Month

  • At Least 1 Private Session Observation with the Lead Instructor Monthly

Observation develops the teacher's eye and strengthens critical thinking skills.

Certification Awarded

Upon successful completion, participants receive the: KKRU Emerging Teacher Apprenticeship Certificate

A structured apprenticeship experience focused on teaching development, observation, mentorship, professional growth, and practical application.
