Meet the KKRU Teachers

Founder & CEO
Khetanya Henderson
Khetanya’s passion for fitness began during her performing arts career. She discovered Pilates and began teaching in NYC and LA — working with A-list celebrities, reputable online fitness platforms, and premier studios. Eventually, her passion brought her home to Atlanta, where she continued to evolve the wellness space in holistic and purpose-driven ways. In 2023, she established KKRU, a comprehensive Pilates & Wellness brand that highlights the classical work and intentional practice, as originally defined by Joseph Pilates. Khetanya’s ‘KRU’, stands for her motto, Keep Reaching Up, and promotes her goal of empowering strength, from the inside out. Khetanya is driven by a deep commitment to creating a unique wellness space. Her adaptability, empathy, and deep-rooted expertise allow her to tailor each experience with intention. Her mission is to empower the mind and body toward a better lifestyle through movement, practice, and self-love.

Yoga Teacher
Lyric Bolen
Lyric is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher who believes movement is a way back into the body. Her classes blend strength, softness, breath, really good music, and a little bit of sweat — creating space to move with intention, curiosity, and presence.
Yoga is how she tunes in. It’s a space for her to listen to her body, notice what it needs, and respond with care. Some days that looks like softness, some days it looks like sweat, but it always brings her back to awareness.

Pilates Apprentice
Dee J. Cormier
Dee J. has been a classically trained Pilates teacher (Mat Levels 1–3 and Reformer Level 1) since 2024. She holds a Pilates certification from Vitality Method in Duluth, Georgia.
Dee J. is excited to join KKRU, where she currently specializes in beginner mat classes, with a focus on building strong foundations, proper alignment, and accessible movement for all bodies. She is continuing her education with plans to soon teach Reformer Pilates and Sculpt, expanding her offerings as she grows as an instructor.

Somatic Practitioner
Lauren Dike
Lauren is a somatic practitioner whose work is informed by personal experience with anxiety and a deep commitment to supporting true, sustainable healing, rather than symptom management alone. She partners with organizations to enhance long-term performance by helping individuals shift out of survival-based patterns and into states of safety, regulation, and choice. This approach supports clearer decision making, resilience, and more effective collaboration.
Lauren is a former Division I track athlete and professional figure athlete and has recently returned to running from a more embodied, restorative perspective — integrating athletic discipline with nervous system awareness and self-trust.

Yoga Teacher
Inga Harmon
Inga Harmon is a wellness professional and yoga practitioner since 2014. Her approach to wellness is rooted in her motto, "Keep It Movin," through intentional movement, breath awareness, and cultivating balance in both action and stillness. She views wellness as a sustainable, lifelong practice that supports physical strength, mental clarity, and emotional resilience.

Inga’s wellness focus blends mindful movement, alignment, and breath-led practices that support overall wellbeing. Whether through energizing flows or slower, more deliberate movement, she emphasizes listening to the body, honoring its signals, and creating space for clarity and restoration. With an energetic and steady presence, Inga creates environments that feel welcoming, supportive, and empowering — leaving students feeling and centered, both on and off the mat.

Prenatal Yoga Teacher
Nandi Jacobs
Nandi is a prenatal yoga instructor, mom, and doula who loves helping pregnant people slow down, breathe, and trust their bodies. Her teaching is shaped by her work in maternal health and birth support, and she prioritizes safety, choice, and nervous-system care in every class.

Nandi is excited to bring her intentional expertise to KKRU and expand studio offerings to pre-and post-natal members during carefully crafted yoga sequences that help you prepare for child birth or rebuild strength after delivering.

Yoga Teacher
Sumanah Khan
Sumanah is a certified yoga instructor in recovery, who found her practice in 2012 after healing from congestive heart failure in 2006. In 2013, she received her initial 200-hour certification at Yoga One Charlotte, a Baptiste affiliate studio. She also received her Level 1 and 2 training from Baron Baptiste, as well as her hands on assisting certification. Sumanah also received her Yoga Kurunta training from Rutu Chaudhari of All Life is Yoga, a specific Iyengar Yoga Wall training. Over the last 12 years, she has accrued thousands of teaching, training, and certification hours. Through her practice, she has gained an intuitive knowing and appreciation of her natural state, and a connection to the larger consciousness that surrounds us. She lives in service of her practice, and the privilege to share it with others.

Classical Pilates Teacher
Sue Osagie
Sue’s dedicated practice blends a modern understanding of movement with the timeless principles of classical Pilates. She began her Pilates journey in 2020 with a contemporary certification, and continued her studies under Master Teacher Joel Crosby of Vitality Method Pilates. With over 500 training hours in Classical Mat, Reformer, and all Classical Apparatus, and currently completing her advanced training, Sue is on track to become a fully certified third-generation classical Pilates instructor.
At KKRU, Sue teaches Classical Mat and Reformer Pilates, focusing on strength, control, and mindful movement. She loves helping clients build confidence and feel strong in their bodies, one thoughtful movement at a time. Sue honors the integrity of the classical method while meeting students where they are.

Yoga and Sound Healing Teacher
Chelsey Reese
Chelsey is a trauma informed therapist and wellness practitioner, blending therapeutic insight with yoga, sound healing, and breath work. She creates restorative experiences to help people drop into their bodies and experience deeper connections within themselves and around the world. Chelsey believes whole-heartedly in body-based practices, which allow us to tap into some of our greatest strengths.

Yoga Teacher
Amy Robbins
Amy has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, returning to her mat again and again as a landing place for her heart, mind, and body. In 2024, when the timing finally felt right, Amy dove fully into teacher training at Sati Yoga — emerging with fresh energy, new perspective, and a whole lot of heart.
Her classes blend flow, feeling, and a fun, feisty vibe that invites you to move, breathe, and be yourself. As a therapist, Amy weaves in thoughtful tools, breath work, and gentle insights to help you soften, open, and expand — on and off the mat. In addition to Flow, Amy also teaches Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra, where she guides you into creating space by melting into the body. Come practice with Amy, listen to her killer playlists and leave feeling grounded, centered, and energized.
